Payment can be made via Payable Google form (Coming soon, once implemented by Renaissance Studio), Venmo (@Renaissance_Studios), cash, or check at least one full week prior to the class or workshop, so materials can be purchased. Please notify at least 48 hours in advance if you cannot attend. No refunds will be given for no shows.
Class/Workshop participation must meet within the minimum and maximum numbers. Check the Class/Workshop page for information.
Each participant may bring a beverage of choice to "sip" in our Paint/Quilt and Sip party. If the participant is under the age of 21, they may not consume alcohol at the studio. The studio is not selling alcohol or providing alcohol for participants. Understand that as a “paint/quilt and sip” location with a BYOB policy, if the participant is of legal drinking age (21), they may bring a container of wine or beer to Renaissance Studio. The participant acknowledges that Renaissance Studio is not a party facility, but is an art studio that allows its participants to BYOB while they learn to paint. The participant will consume alcohol that they bring responsibly, and they have been encouraged to get a ride or carpool if they will be drinking alcohol. The participant assumes all risk for their actions while under the influence of alcohol. The participant understands that if there are any concerns about my ability to operate a motor vehicle upon leaving Renaissance Studio, any agent of the studio may call the local police department to conduct a wellness check on the participant's behalf, but does not have an obligation to do so.
Pieces will be available for pick up within 2 to 3 weeks after the date of the class. Please recognize that pottery is an art, and clay can be a fickle beast; we cannot guarantee that your pieces will come out the way that you envision, or that they will survive all the stages of the making process.
We do our best to shepherd every piece lovingly through the ceramic process, but sometimes accidents, errors, and acts of God occur, in which case your work may not come out how you dreamed. We are very sorry when this happens, but we will not be held liable for it.
By signing up for a Renaissance Studio Class/Workshop and marking the checkmark that you have read, and understand, you agree to the following:
I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims and damages for personal injury, death, or property damage which I, or my minor children, may sustain or which may occur as a result of my own participation, or that of my minor children, with Renaissance Studio LLC.
I further understand and agree that:
This release is intended to discharge in advance Renaissance Studio LLC, its owners and employees from and against any and all liability, except for their sole negligence or intentional acts, connected in any way with my participation or my minor children’s participation in Renaissance Studio LLC activities;
Such activities may be of a hazardous, strenuous, and/or physical nature, cause injuries and participation in said activities may result in injury, death or property damage;
Knowing the risk involved, nevertheless, I voluntarily request permission for myself or my minor child to participate in said activities;
I hereby assume any and all risks of injury, death or property damage and to release and hold harmless Renaissance Studio LLC, its officers, employees, contractors & agents, except for their sole negligence or intentional acts;
This waiver, release and assumption of risk is binding on me and my heirs and assigns;
I will indemnify and hold Renaissance Studio LLC harmless from any loss, liability, damage, cost or expense, including litigation, which it may incur as a result of any injury and/or property damage which myself or my minor children may sustain while participating in said activities;
I will compensate any loss, damage, or cost Renaissance Studio LLC may incur if any litigation arises due to any claim made by myself, said minors, or by anyone on said minor’s behalf;
Activities are not child care and Renaissance Studio LLC is not responsible for unattended children on the premises;
I expressly allow, and hereby waive any objection to, Renaissance Studio LLC photographing and/or videotaping of me and/or my minor children when I and/or my minor children are participating in Renaissance Studio LLC programs;
I have carefully read this Waiver of Liability, Photography/Videotape Release, and Indemnification Agreement and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and Renaissance Studio LLC, and that I sign it of my own free will.
