The following projects were done for the LDHSS Drama Crew, and their "Nightmare Before Christmas" play.
Here is my design for the "Behind the scenes" work. I tried to keep things subtle , and just had a small icon in the corner of the post. the sample image is quite low quality, but it was the best thing that I could find. I feel as though for a piece like this, things should not be made very complicated, due to a majority of the information being communicated through the image/video.
These are the show posters that I made. Now that I had a theme with the black, white, and red, and the skeletons I was able to create a nice piece. For the first poster, I tried to use the extra negative space from the skeleton and fill up the text. For the other poster, I intended for the skeleton design that I found to be the focal point of the image. I put the info at the bottom of the image.
The movie graphic that I made is in the bottom left corner of the image. Again, I tried to keep things subtle. I attempted to showcase a collaboration between "A nightmare before christmas" and our school. At the end, it would say the name of the production, and it's director. I picture this just sliding onto the screen, and then disappearing when the play starts.
These are the instagram posts that I created. I reused the skeletons to maintain the consistency of the theme, and follow through with the posters.
These are the banners that I made. At the moment, I had trouble with deciding which banner to stick with, but in hindsight, the second one is better. I think it's just less cluttered so it just works better.
This was the icon that I made for the site design, it's just a repeat of the main logo. I think that this is a clean, and simple representation of the play.
