Showcases

Each round will be followed by one Showcase Performance.  Showcase Katas are advanced katas performed by high rank students and instructors.  Your instructor will speak to you ahead of time if you are invited to perform one of these katas.  

These not-to-be-missed performances will include weapons, animal styles, and soft style.  They will highlight the breadth and depth of Cuong Nhu.  During the potluck, ask the performers about their katas to learn more about our history and the origins of the katas.

All participants are invited to join the final Showcase performance of Taikyoku.  Taikyoku or "First Cause" is the first kata that Cuong Nhu students learn and is the foundation of many that follow.
