2026 Lancaster Lebanon Show: March 25-28
The Lancaster Lebanon Quilt Show was a huge success this year! Thank you so much to all of you who volunteered your time and efforts to make our section of it run so smoothly. I’m so happy and proud of our members!!

TOP AND MIDDLE LEFT: Susan Fraile and Jennifer Funck selling tickets for our raffle quilt “Semiquincentennial” (98” x 98”), which was a “Wow!” quilt at the show. It’s a Judy Niemeyer design paper-pieced by Bonnie McClun, Cathy Mead, and Jeanne Riley, and beautifully quilted with elaborate swirls of feathers by Kim Loar.
We had a steady stream of hopeful winners, who purchased $1298 worth of tickets!
BOTTOM LEFT: Our boutique raised $1794 (!!), thanks to the masterful sales techniques of our new Craft Committee members Joyce Tobiassen, Sarah Hunt, and Cheryl Fowler. That’s WAY up from last year! The beautiful pink dahlia wallhanging sold Saturday afternoon, and Joyce said they could have sold another one, if they’d had it.
Needless to say, the sales put quite a dent in our inventory – which gives you many opportunities to make more items for us to sell! Watch for our “inventory wish list” in the next few weeks. Needles up!!
The Quilt Show Coordinator, Aasta Deth, mentioned this year’s show had the highest attendance of all the years here. She estimated about 15,000 people. The Expo people told her the quilt show draws more people than any other event held there.

RRQG Quilt Display at Lancaster/Lebanon Show in March: We need your quilts!
RRQG will have 39 spaces to display the fantastic workmanship of our members. It was decided that the participants of the 2024 Sew Along Workshop will share their quilts - there will be 15 quilts in that grouping. We need 24 more quilts. Seventeen beautiful quilts were submitted at the Christmas party for the show – but we need eight more! If you have one you haven’t shown yet, or are just completing, please contact Bonnie McClun (Bonnie@mclun.com) as soon as possible.
