The Red Rose Quilters Guild volunteers at the Lancaster AQS Show. During each year's show we help people create blocks to be added to our comfort quilts that are given to agencies in the area. Guild volunteers show attendees how to sew. The guild also had a booth selling raffle tickets for our quilt. We also have a Package Check for those attendees who prefer to leave their packages with us while they shop.

Many thanks to our Guild members, your family and friends for your amazing support and many hours that you volunteered at the AQS show last week! Without you, this event would not have been possible.
We appreciate your flexibility in changing shifts, locations and adding extra time to your schedule. We had 318 shifts to fill and we had about 85% of those filled.
We sold $1683 worth of raffle quilt tickets. Participants made 193 blocks (!!!) at the comfort quilt booth, enough for 7 kids’ quilts and 2 throw-size quilts for women. Watch for these kits in the coming months…all in all, a fun and most productive week for the Guild!
We received lots of positive feedback from AQS and visitors. There were also some suggestions for ways to improve in the future. Beth Bigler would appreciate any feedback you may have to offer or any comments from guests. Please email her at sewbig01@yahoo.com
