How do we create our production?
Our performance and visual arts pieces from around the world! In 2021, we selected 10 pieces out of 240 submissions. Those ten pieces are then distributed to our LA teams! Each performance piece is filmed and put together as a collection of shorts depicting people's experiences of living with mental illness. We then gather a group of licenesed mental healthcare professionals to answer any questions audience members have!
*EACH PIECE WITH TRIGGERS ARE LABELED*

Dave Dean
Diversionary Theatre

Purging
Ann Marley Adapted by Hannah Trujillo
A work in line with that of Sarah Kane or Gertrude Stein; the text chooses to follow a path of human thought resulting in a narrative that closely resembles anxiety, obsessive compulsive tendencies, negative thoughts, and restriction. We chose to highlight the chaotic nature of the piece with movement, the same way our struggles exist in bodies before we know it. OCD, anxiety, intrusive thoughts
