Recover Me presents their fourth annual mental health awareness gala! Recover Me is an international annual event that uses original short films, live performances, and visual arts, to promote an educational and community orientated understanding of mental illness.
Dress to the nines and join us as we enrich the conversation around mental health. From acknowledging the hard days and reality of mental illness, to celebrating the victories and every step in between, we are here to do our part in normalizing mental health.

What To Expect:
This empowering and life changing gala is presented in three parts. It begins with a visual arts gallery that includes interactive original visual art about mental health, and opportunities to expand your knowledge with mental health resources. The gallery is followed by original self produced short films and live performances based on worldwide script submissions. The evening concludes in a guided Q&A with licensed mental health professionals. This year’s panelists include: Dr. Candice Ruttner-Duryea- LMFT therapist/neurofeedback specialist, Saba Harouni- art therapist, Dr. Vanessa Hughes- somatic therapist, and Kelly Manning- AFSP representative.
PROGRAM : PG 13 *no graphic descriptions or visuals around assault or self harm are presented. Trigger warnings are provided, along with a space to step out and return as needed.
50% of all ticket sales go toward the LA chapter of the AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention)
The other 50% goes toward future Recover Me Galas (paying artists, film production and gala creation)
