HCST HS Diploma Program for Out of School Youth (Age 16-24): Diploma Prep and Workforce Readiness
NJCU Youth Corps - Accelerated HS Diploma program for young adults ages 16-25. Every 4 months about 20 slots open for an alternative path to an official HS Diploma including community service, core subject prep, career guidance, and an optional Career Advancement Program (CAP) internship/training.
Job Corps (Age 16-24): Free education and training credentials, with room and board included
Community College Opportunity Grant - Earn an Associates Degree for free (income eligibility)
Garden State Guarantee – After 60 credits, receive final 2 years of a bachelor's for free from an NJ State School
COOP Digital Apprenticeship Program – Free training program for under-salaried recent college graduates interest form

🧩Resources from "YAOppExpo"
On April 21, 2022, JCHA sponsored a virtual Young Adult Opportunity Expo highlighting accessible opportunities specifically for ages 16-25 near Jersey City. This was an Online & Call-in Zoom event which allowed participants to hear from and then connect directly with 25+ orgs representing accelerated training programs, earn-as-you-learn apprenticeships, educational degree scholarships, “Service Year” programs, clubs, & much more.
