Monkey Pox Vaccination Centers

New Eyes for the Needy allows agencies and individuals to apply for eyeglass vouchers. These can be redeemed through this website and the glasses get shipped to the person in need. The only requirement for a voucher is a prescription.
Prescription Assistance Available to More NJ Seniors/Disabilities - Income limits for New Jersey's PAAD and Senior Gold programs have risen by $10,000, extending prescription savings to more seniors and individuals with disabilities. PAAD now accepts single applicants earning up to $52,142 and couples up to $59,209. The Senior Gold thresholds are $62,142 for singles and $69,209 for couples. Eligible residents can lower their medication costs and are urged to apply via the NJSave online portal. For eligibility details and to apply, visit njsave.org or call 1-866-NJSAVE-5.

COVID-19 Testing
Starting April 2022 due to updated HRSA policy there will be costs associated with testing at some of Jersey City’s partner sites.
· The last day of testing at the Bethune Center is April 8, 2022
· The last day of testing at 463 Marin Blvd is Saturday, April 23, 2022
The Uninsured Program that covered the cost of testing for Jersey City residents that do not have health insurance has stopped accepting claims for testing and treatment due to lack of sufficient funds.
COVID-19 Vaccinations:
Vaccinations are now available for NJ residents ages 5 and up
Starting April 1st 2022, the city of Jersey City will transition down to the following two sites for COVID-19 Vaccinations:
· The Bethune Center – 140 Martin Luther King Drive
· Pershing Field – 201 Central Avenue
