We woke up at 7:45 to have breakfast at 8:00.
After we packed up, we left at 10:00 and went into the town to get some supplies and see the coast.
As you can see in the pictures below, Sheringham is a very populated town so has lots of coastal defence measures in place. When we were there, is was extremely windy and the waves looked very powerful as they smashed against the rocks. In order to absorb lots of this energy, rock armour is used, as you can see. There is also a high sea wall.
On the fourth picture below, if you look closely, you can see that the sea wall has a huge mural installed on it, depicting a scene from the last ice age 14,000 years ago, when mammoths, bears and hyenas dominated the landscape. Made from 127 recycled scaffolding boards, it was inspired by the discovery of the world's most complete skeleton of a Steppe mammoth, found in West Runton, the next town east of Sheringham.

After that, we continued our journey up a big hill and saw a good view of Sheringham from the top.
As we continued, we went through Felbrigg Hall and stopped at a café.
We then carried on cycling until we got to Itteringham at 14:00 for lunch.
As we started cycling again, we followed the Bure Valley railway all the way to the campsite. We saw two trains pass by on the way.
Unfortunately, I had to fix another puncture on my bike (but that was my last one).
We got to the campsite at 17:15 and had an ice cream as a reward. We pitched the tent and made dinner.
We made friends with some other campers and sat by the fire before going to bed at 22:00.
