After a restful sleep in Hillside Farm Campsite, we got up and made breakfast and a nice cup of tea.
We had to fix a puncture on my bike but after we left at midday, we were refreshed under the cool canopy of Thetford Forest.
After replenishing our supplies in Thetford, we had lunch at 13:30 and fixed another puncture. (The number of punctures we got this time compare significantly to the zero-puncture cycling trip to Amsterdam last summer!)
We carried on cycling through Linford but then my front gears jammed on G2 because the mechanism snapped. I could still cycle freely but for the rest of the trip, I was limited to only my middle gears.
As we carried on, the route took us through many off-road tracks and we continued past the Desert Rats tank statue.
After making good progress, we finally made it to the hotel in Swaffham. The weather was very good.
We had dinner at around 20:00 and had a good sleep in the comfortable beds (after having to wash our clothes in the sink)!
