250-Mile Bike Ride around Norfolk funded by the Henry Morris Awards in 2024 - this is the detailed summary of Charlie's trip. His former trip website is linked here.
Thank you very much to the Henry Morris Awards for funding the trip!
The Rebellion Way is a cycle route in Norfolk that follows the North Norfolk coastline and passes through many historic landmarks, including Sandringham House, Holkham Hall and Castle Acre. It also runs through many coastal settlements, including Sandringham and Hunstanton.
I took advantage of this and explored Norfolk history and coastal geography. I now have a greater understanding about how the fight against coastal erosion is becoming more important as the sea level rises, and how it is temporarily adapted to by coastal defence strategies.
