Blairvadach outdoor education center - Glasgow
@blairvadachoec.bsky.social
This profile is an outdoor education center run out of Glasgow. They provide outdoor education and training for youth and adults. This profile shares many photographs of what their programs looks like, they also share hashtags so you can explore other profiles that share similarities. I was drawn to this profile because of the many photographs they capture of thier program, I believe it's important to highlight learning through photographs, to share with others what the students are experiencing.
Edutopia
@edutopia.org
This account shares content for teaching in education. They follow other educators and share what has worked for them, this is similar to what educators do in physical schools so it's neat to see it in an online platform. What caught my eye was the connection they had with their viewers, asking questions and sharing information with the online followers and visitors. I believe profiles are engaging and get more followers when they share information viewers want to see, also to have that community feel.
Linguistic Discovery
@linguisticdiscovery.com
This profile is a man who studies linguistic language. He dives deep into the history of how people used math in the past, and how we can learn from it using math today. This profile caught my attention by posting different strategies for teaching math and also topics on language. I believe it's important to learn about language and language in math from a different perspective. If we can view these topics in a different lens, then maybe we can learn how to teach others strategies so students will understand at another level. I feel that the variety in their posts keeps viewers engaged for someone like myself who enjoys videos, photographs, memes, invites, links etc.
