Mozart - Die Zauberflöte Karl Böhm. Two different issues of the same recording:
New edition: 2709017. Thinner vinyl, shiny cover. Fabulous sound, recording, musicality/ Natural soundstage, dynamis and tonal balance.
Old edition: 138981/83. Textile covers, thicker box, thicker vinyl. Same picture on covers. New edition has much wider soundstage, and it's much better in every aspect. Needs cleaning, so cannot tell yet final verdict. Might clean up well, but I suspect new edition has better sound even then. Quite unusual.
