When considering whether your child would benefit from tutoring in reading or executive function skills coaching, the following options are available:
Instruction will begin after an assessment is made of the child's areas of weakness using multiple measures. Then a diagnostic approach will be tailored to your child. This approach requires an ongoing commitment of weekly sessions that will not be a quick fix. Ideally, O-G instruction is provided to students in early elementary school (Grades 1-3), who are showing signs of struggle with reading and may or may not have been diagnosed with a language-based learning disability like dyslexia.
Cost is based on the number of sessions per week, per semester. Payment is made using a tuition model, with equal payments due monthly.
Weekly sessions will take place after an inventory of executive function skills and study habits. The student is asked to bring current school assignments and materials to the session for targeted coaching and support. Tools and templates will be introduced to help students understand directions, complete assignments on time, and retain more of what the teacher wants them to learn.
Cost is per session, paid weekly at time of session, or in blocks of 8 sessions, with a price break when paid in advance.
