Kathryn attended Springfield College, where she majored in Sports Journalism, minored in English, and interned at the Basketball Hall of Fame. She later transitioned into education, teaching high school English while earning her Master’s degree in Education with certification in Library Science. Kathryn dedicated ten years as an English teacher at West High School in Manchester before serving as a Library Media Specialist at Central High School for nine years.
Inspired by the progress of her own child with dyslexia, Kathryn began training in the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading instruction and successfully completed her practicum requirements for certification in the summer of 2024.
At READ2ME3, Kathryn provides individualized tutoring and coaching support in Reading, Writing, and Study Skills. She also offers general essay writing workshops and specializes in college application essay consulting, helping students find their voice and stand out through their writing.
