Speech and Debate is a collection of events ranging from extemporaneous speeches on foreign policy to humorous skits to deep dives into public policy. Debate develops speaking, research, and leadership skills. Come to our meetings every Monday and Thursday in room 227.
Model United Nations is an audition-based team of students who complete in delegations in a single culminating conference. If you are interested in joining, talk to Mr. Fischer (cfischer@cpsk12.org) in room 218 for more information.
The Rock Bridge Bridge Builders ("We build bridges, not barriers!") meet after school on Thursdays until 5:30. The group spends time writing and presenting poetry. Members do workshops and give each other critiques over the year. Once second semester rolls around, the Bridge Builders participate in the Louder Than a Bomb slam poetry competition. DECA is a great opportunity for young people interested in exploring a future profession in a business related field through scenario role playing, virtual business ventures, and testing of your knowledge of the business field. DECA allows you meet and compete against other like minded teenagers at conferences locally, state wide, and from across the nation at the annual international conference. You'll learn real life application of your marketing class curriculum in the real world through DECA and have several opportunities to grow as a leader and business professional.

FBLA is a club designed to be a student's first step into the world of business. It focuses on leadership and developing the young minds of the America's future business leaders. Members compete against others in their business category, which is one they select and are passionate about. FBLA meets once a month, and updates are announced via email. Meetings are held in Mr. Cochran's room in the CACC.
