The purpose of Mu Alpha Theta is to promote scholarship in, enjoyment, and understanding of mathematics among high school students. As a club, we meet about once a month and work on service projects throughout the year, ranging from working booths at the Fall Carnival and Pi Day to hosting our own math competition at RBHS for elementary school students. Membership in the club is selective, and invitations for qualified students will be mailed out early-mid first semester, so be on the lookout if you would like to join! For more information contact Jerry Hou (20ch01@stu.cpsk12.org) or faculty sponsor Mr. McCray (bmccray@cpsk12.org).
MAC Scholars stands for Multicultural Achievement Committee. We are a group of minorities working together to become successful, as well as doing volunteer work, visiting colleges and participating in events at school. To get involved you can contact Atiyah Lane (laneatiyah@gmail.com) or our home school communicator, Joe Collier (jcollier@cpsk12.org). Our meetings are every other Wednesday in the PAC. You can also find meeting dates around the school.
