The Wales Cancer Research Centre is funded by the Welsh Government and is a vital part of Health and Care Research Wales’ infrastructure. It is led from Cardiff University, but with an all-Wales brief.

UK-Qatar Healthcare Collaboration

The UK-Qatar precision healthcare is a collaboration between FCDA, Swansea University, UCL, QMUL, Barts, Qatar foundation, Hamad and Sidra Medicine. Prof Steve Conlan, Swansea University, leads the precision cancer care branch with researchers and clinicians in Doha using cutting edge functional genomic techniques. This project is active until 2025.

MRC IAA

The MRC IAA supports translational research in therapeutics and diagnostics. This funding aims to bridge the gap to significant future translational funding. Previously known as the MRC CiC, RBGO have been able to secure IAA funding for advancement of drug delivery systems that the group are developing.

The Cluster for Epigenonmic and Antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) Therepeutics (CEAT), will deliver advanced drug technologies for the treatment of ovarian cancer.
