2025 Result
Created a focus group in 2021 to aid with the City’s Master plan.
Worked with the Mayor and council to greatly improve the situation with flooding. Road widening projects, and construction of new roads (i.e. Kinzie/ Lindsey)
Worked with High School students to clean the park throughout the last 5 years.
Voted for and was instrumental in the construction of Pickleball / Tennis facilities on Park Lane and refurbishing facilities at the Rec. Center

Grow Jobs through Public/Private Partnerships
Improve Industrial Recruitment
Recruit new businesses while keeping our current ones.
Improving Transportation, including Interstate and possible rail access.
2025 Result
Over 90 brick-and-mortar businesses were added, with approximately 1100 new jobs.
Fully supported the Challenger learning center, the new quality of life center (Rec. Center), and several other Public projects which employed a large number of residents.
Toured and met with leaders of the Workforce Development Center at GSCC.
As promised in the 2020 election, I fully supported the Interstate ramp survey/engineering survey approved by the council.
Fully supported Rainbow City’s cooperation and future annexation of the NEAR MegaSite which includes Railroad access.

Education-
Promote apprenticeship programs with local businesses for high school seniors.
Continue to support all schools in our community.
Partner with the Board of Education to upgrade City Facilities.
2025 Result
I have worked with the High School guidance counselors and appropriate personnel in the Board of Education to place students in local businesses as apprentices, many of whom have pursued careers in the fields they were placed in.
Met with the Superintendent of Etowah County schools about the needs of Rainbow City students, as well as the possibility of a Rainbow City High School.
Personally provided gift cards to teachers at Rainbow Middle School, John Jones Elementary and Southside Elementary school.

Parks and Recreation-
Expand our current walking and biking trials through ADECA Grants.
Retain our partnership with the Sports Authority to provide more opportunities for community involvement (Local Recreational tournaments) and to bring in visitors from outside the area for tournaments and events.
Expand activities for our Senior Citizens.
Expand Recreation Center Hours and Upgrade/Construct a new facility.
2025 Result
I serve as the Chairman of the Sportsplex Authority, which has brought in over 55,000 people for tournaments and events at the RBC Sportsplex (Per Public Safety experts)
These events include High School football, Soccer, National Flag Football, NSA Flag Football, Omega Ball, Kite Festivals, and several other events.
This year, the Sportsplex hosted the RBC Drone Show, which Mayor Taylor originated, and brought in thousands more to RBC.
As Chairman, I negotiated long-term sponsorships with local and state businesses, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, the UPS Store, Kia, and Alabama Rush.
As Chairman, I negotiated with the largest youth soccer club in the country (RUSH International) to make the RBC Sportsplex their home. This will bring in even more people for tournaments and camps while assisting our local youth by providing an excellent experience.
Hosted the Tyler Stovall Sports Camp annually, assisting young people in Baseball, Track, Football, and Soccer while helping with their spiritual development.
Helped craft legislation that would turn over management of the Sportsplex to Rainbow City.
I personally Sponsor Youth Football programs in our area, including the Rainbow City Crimson Panthers.

Create a city with room for expansion and growth without losing the hometown appeal through proper zoning.
Ensure transparency.
Work as a local government to support the people.
2025 Result
Attended several planning commission meetings and worked with members of the board of adjustments to help our city expand.
To ensure transparency, I personally streamed our City Council meetings before the city was able to put in place the technology to do it as a municipality. Today, all RBC Council meetings are Live-Streamed.
