For A Detailed List of Promises Made vs. Promises Kept,
Rainbow City is a great place to live!
As a Rainbow City Councilman, I have dedicated myself to the Economic, Educational, and Recreational growth of this great city.
During my first term as a city councilman, Rainbow City has grown in all of these areas.
The Etowah County (NEAR) Megasite will soon bring more jobs and growth to Rainbow City, including our first railroad spur.
The new recreation center and soccer complex.
New pickleball and tennis courts, baseball, softball, and track construction, which began in the summer of 2025.
I continue to encourage and support all of these developments.
In the area of education, the Challenger Center will provide access to current STEM technology for middle school students from across North and Central Alabama.
I, along with Mayor Taylor and the rest of the Council, have had discussions about a possible Rainbow City High School, which would continue to complement the City's growth as a regional power. As the sole educator on the council, I have continued to play a key role in these discussions.
The Council has continued to expand our Public Safety Department to keep Rainbow City positioned as the safest city in Alabama while improving the chronic flooding problems. More streets have been paved in Rainbow City than the rest of Etowah County combined.
Let's keep Rainbow City moving forward. Vote Randy Vice in August 2025.
