Summer shine dawns
As the water glints
Cute little fawns
Come out to chew on mint
Summer trees twirl
The leaves fall down
All pretty summer green
Not one leaf brown
Summer grass sways
The dew drops splashing
Little fox play
The beauty of summer never clashing
In summer, peace resides
Between friend and foe
Even animals ride
Next to us, peace is shown.
The light shines down
In a misty gown
A morning gift
To those who lift
A heavy burden
They cannot take
That pushes down
Incredible weight
A blooming present
That's golden and bright
If you're willing to accept
And just watch the beautiful sight.
Come to wash away
Anything astray
Finding a way to set order
To this world all in disorder
With blooming cherry blossoms
Only found in Spring
Or little opossums
Ready to bring
Joy to all
Peace to others
No love fall
All sisters and brothers
Among friends
And family relatives
No bends
This is how we live.
The Dog Who Liked Chicken
There once was a dog who liked chicken
If he saw a real one he'd look stricken
He'd eat any food
But was in the best mood
When he got that meat his pace would quicken.
When you see the sky
You see the beauty
The Earth
As Mother meant it to be
The truth
Untold past our life
Through
The pretty Crystal Sky
Now
You see the diamonds within
Now
You see the sky smitten
Now
The sky has revealed its hidden wonder
Now
There is no space to ponder
But in that beautiful sky
Reach it if you stretch up high
Past your life
Past your soul
Reach it only if
You've finally let go
