With Halloween upcoming (and now passed), I had decided to crochet pumpkins. These are perfect for Halloween-themed gifts, as they are a simple project for crocheters, and are very cute. I have now made at least ten, fulfilling requests but must find something else now, since Halloween is over.
Here is my current marker-coloring page that I am working on. I believe it is going pretty well, but I have no idea when I will finish, with all my current projects (soap fish, scarf, etc.). Really, coloring is almost a stress-relief. When I'm bored, or sick, or sad, I can just turn on some music and start coloring. You don't have to talk, you don't have to overthink, you can just choose a color and color until the page is filled with natural beauty. The nice part is, everyone is unique! You look at someone elses, and they have a different style, a different technique. Some people may color until not a white dot is on the page with vivid and bright colors, and some people might leave some white just for natural beauty, or because they believe it looks better. Everyone's coloring style is unique, and that's what makes it beautiful.
I have always enjoyed coloring in coloring books, with markers or colored pencils, but my family's coloring book went away in an Electrical Fire my house suffered three years ago. We now have a new coloring book, but coloring is tiring and unforgiving on the wrists, so I was very proud when I finally completed a page with markers. I have one with Colored Pencils too, but Markers stand out more. Though we have a more varied supply of Colored Pencils, I find myself using Markers more often to finish these coloring pages, with the fine tips that never run out.
