DEAD PERIOD: June 25 - July 9 {same dates every year}
ALL RYLE ATHLETIC FACILITIES WILL BE CLOSED AT THIS TIME & PLAYERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE SCHOOL GROUNDS FOR TRAINING.
THERE WILL BE NO COMMUNICATION OR CONTACT FROM THE COACHING STAFF TO PLAYERS OR PARENTS DURING THIS TIME.
Over Dead Period, it is important for players to continue CONDITIONING, STRENGTH TRAINING, & TECHNICAL {foot skills}, it just cannot be at Ryle or include any Ryle Staff member.
Players are encouraged to create workout/accountability partners/groups with other players.
a. Mon-Wed-Friday: Conditioning
Push yourself to run 1.5 - 2 miles each Mon, Wed, Fri in mornings or evenings when temperatures are cooler.
30 Minutes of Technical Foot skills
Drink Plenty of Fluids to Stay Hydrated
b. Tues & Thurs: Strength Training
***PLAYER SAFETY IS THE TOP PRIORITY***
Be sure that workouts are being completed in a safe environment with others.

Coach Derek has been providing Ginga/Technical Skills training to the players that have been attending our M-W-F pre-season training sessions.
This program caters to all athletes. Each session will include dynamic agility drills to help increase the individual's speed and power.
Classes will be fun, high tempo, and challenging. Each session lasts 60 -75 minutes.

Coming into the season conditioned and in shape gives us a great starting point & can put us ahead of other teams while providing us with a competitive advantage.
It is highly recommended that player vacations and time away from the program are completed before/over Dead Period and prior to tryouts so playing time is not impacted.
