RETURNING Player
New Players/Parents Once the Intent to Tryout form has been completed:
Visit the Big Teams Page on our website for step-by-step instructions on how to create an player and parent accounts {if new to Big Teams} and upload all necessary documentation, including up to date physical so that the player may participate in pre-season training sessions and tryouts.
New players and parent(s) will be invited to join our program's communication app, Band, which will keep you informed of our calendar and relevant information RE the program.

For all tryouts days, players are to bring:
Cleats AND Running Shoes
Shin Guards
Plenty of water or sports drink for hydration

JV/VARSITY TRYOUTS
Location: Stadium-Turf Field
PRELIM Dates/Times:
July 15th:
Check In: 5:45-6:15p
Tryout: 630-9p
July 16th:
Check In: 3:45-4:15p
Tryout: 4:30-7p
July 17th: 2-2:30p - Players will pick up decision letter @ flagpole near front school entrance.
Tryout times are subject to change due to weather {heat} conditions and/or field availability.
JV/VARSITY TRYOUT SHIRT COLORS - players are to wear the following t- shirt color according to grade level for each day of tryouts:
9th Grade: Gray
10th Grade: Black
11th Grade: White
12th Grade: Orange

* ALL Freshman Players are to attend Freshman tryouts on Thursday.
* Dates/Times are subject to change due to weather and/or field availability/conditions.
FROSH TRYOUT SHIRT COLORS - players are to wear the following t-shirt color according to grade level for each day of tryouts:
SHIRT COLOR
7th Grade: White
8th Grade: Orange
9th Grade: Gray
Open to players that will be entering the 7th, 8th & 9th grades in the fall
INCOMING 7th Graders may be selected for the Freshman Team if there's a shortage of players trying out and they have the appropriate mentality and physical skill level to compete at the high school level.

Tryouts - What to Expect
Tryouts are going to be intense and competitive {come to tryouts mentally and physically prepared to compete to the best of your ability}
Tryouts will consist of quantitative {timed} drills such as 1.5-mile run, 20 yard and 40-yard dashes, fitness test including but not limited to sit ups, push-ups, horizontal jump to measure fitness and athleticism.
Timed juggling will also be included in the assessment - how long can players juggle vs number of juggles.
There will also be qualitative portion of tryouts where the coaching staff will observe players playing in small-sided scrimmages to evaluate:

Team Managers
For players that may not make a team, Team Manager spots will be available at all three levels.
Team managers will assist the team by:
Records Management: Keeping Stats {match scores, team, & player stats}
Helping Set-Up & Clean Up the Field for Training Sessions & Matches.
Manage Team Equipment Like Pinnies, Balls, & Cones & That They are on the Field & Ready for Use.
Attendance: Track practice & game attendance
