I have coached several grade levels in campus-wide Spelling Bees, as well as coached participants in the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee. Coaching duties included but were not limited to: creating a fair and reasonable application and audition process, organizing and leading weekly team meetings, creating daily homework and homework logs for participants, advertising the event, and being available for students and parents after work hours to assist with spelling strategies and homework assignments.
