I have significant experience leading students in a vast array of academic competitions. I have been the primary coach for 130 academic competitions including 3D printing and coding competitions, FIRST Lego League, Destination ImagiNation, DI Rising Stars, multiple categories of University Interscholastic League (UIL) competitions, Scripps Spelling Bee, Dallas Regional Science Fair, H-SEF Science Fair, ECybermission, 3D Printing Makeable competitions, WePrintLab, and more. Throughout the years, the teams I have coached won numerous district, regional, and state placements. In developing the expansion off academic competitions, I have supported teachers who were new to competitions, led trainings at the District and Central Office level in how to expand competitions, and created training and competition manuals to support new teachers and coaches.
