What to do with all those scraps?
1. Organize them by color, store in zip lock bags, page protectors in a binder, or store them in a box. I found a 12 x 12 scrapbook at a thrift shop for $1.00 and use that to store my scraps.
2. Stamp on them!
3. Make some punchies to use as confetti for shaker cards or embellishments
4. Make file tabs for index cards, pages, journals, tags, photos, or to add to a sb page
5. Make paper strips to use on cards
6. Weave those paper strips
7. Put strips through your embossing machine and use as decorative strips on your cards.
8. Stamp some verses on them
9. Punch out squares or circles to use on future cards. Squares can be cut in half diagonally to make a chevron design.
10. If you open junk mail envelopes at the top, save the envelope to recycle, for a closure to the envelope, fold over a scrap rectangle and glue it over the opening. i do this if I have a bank night deposit.
11. Glue scraps on shipping boxes to cover up writing or bar codes.
12. Smear a thin layer of glue with a junk mail credit card or use spray adhesive on card stock and then add your bitty scraps and spread covering the card stock to that making a hap hazard collage. Cover with wax paper then brayer over the wax paper to compress all the scraps so they adhere nicely to the card stock. Use as is, or use as a master board making a digital copy of it and using the digital copy print out in your work.
