A weekly program created and run by our Leos to teach little pre-K kids how to read.
We have been running it every single weekend (except holidays) since March 2019!
We used the donations raise from this (free) program to buy the materials needed to make the gifts for the World Prematurity Day recently!

11/10 - 11/17/2019
Nov 17 is World Prematurity Day (premature babies).
We spent 6.5 hours over 2 days making gifts for NICU (intensive care center for premature babies) doctors & nurses to share appreciation for the special occasion. Our Leos and parents designed and hand-drawn decorations on tote bags, made origami paper lily bouquets.
President Angela & Vice President Dana took the hand-painted gifts to doctors and nurses at Valley Medical Center NICU (intensive care for premature babies), to show appreciation on World Prematurity Day (11/17). The doctors and nurses were really happy and had fun picking out tote bags hand painted by our Leos, in their favorite color.
