ITRAX Workshop

We hope to host an ITRAX workshop, run by Dr. Tom Bishop (UoM) on the morning of Thursday 4th January, depending on interest.  The aim of the workshop is for you to leave with a working R and RStudio setup on your laptop, that can successfully import, manipulate, plot, and export data from an Itrax core scanner.

If you are interested in attending, please email c.delaney@mmu.ac.uk

Please note the following from Tom:

"Although we’ll be covering everything from software installation onwards in our session, and no prior R knowledge is necessary (but is helpful!), users with university-managed machines should ensure they have already installed R and RStudio on their machines, as they might need administrator rights to install the software. Use the most recent version your university will allow you to install (see here for details). If you already have Itrax core-scanner data you’d like to work with, bring along an exact copy of how the facility provided you with the data. If you do want to get a head-start on working in R before the workshop, the Datacamp introductory course is free and quick."
