The Quezon Colleges of the North Learning Resource Center have the basic responsibility of providing collection resources and services to the students, faculty, and community. In line with the VMGO statement of the institution, in which the library organization is an integral part and an intellectual resource of the academic community, the following are the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the QCN Learning Resource Center.
The Quezon Colleges of the North Learning Resource Center is envisioned as a primary resource center of quality information to serve the needs of stakeholders in the pursuit and advancement of academic excellence.
To foster a culture of lifelong learning by providing a dynamic, accessible, and inclusive library environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of the whole person through literacy, critical thinking, and creativity while nurturing a love for reading and inquiry.
The Quezon Colleges of the North Learning Resource Center provides an organized and readily accessible collection of print and non-print information materials and equipment to meet the increasing instructional and individual needs of students and staff.
To support institutional research by teachers and students that relates to present and future issues in education, such as:
To gather, provide, and organize relevant instructional materials, both print and non-print, that support the school curriculum.
To help students, teachers, and other library users find the information they need, carry out classroom assignments, and satisfy their personal needs.
To promote information, literacy skills, to provide a functional service-oriented library program that will enrich, support, vitalize, and implement the educational program as it strives to meet the needs of each student and teacher.
To uphold the mission statement of the institution and be instrumental in the ultimate realization of its goal.
