IDs must be deposited at the charging desk before entering the section. Each student is entitled to fifteen (15) hours per semester to utilize the internet inside the library.
Usage is on a First-Come, First-Served basis.
Allowed access to the following:
Internet Research (academic-related)
Electronic Journal databases
E-books
Movies
The Internet Workstation is for academic and informative related researches only.
Browsing on YouTube, Facebook, and other social networking sites is strictly prohibited unless it is really intended for research or educational purposes.
Saving files/documents using flash drives is not allowed. Personal files can be sent through personal e-mails.
The installation of unauthorized software is prohibited.
Printing charges per page are three pesos (Php 3.00) for A4 size bond paper and four pesos (Php 4.00) for long bond paper.
Students who are caught browsing porn and other prohibited sites, tampering with information on computers, and stealing, mishandling, or abusing equipment and materials are subject to disciplinary action. A user committing multiple such offenses will be provisionally banned from using the e-library for the rest of the semester.
The following are strictly prohibited in the Internet rooms:
Eating, drinking, and smoking
Any form of discussion
Should not be used as a meeting place by any group
Always ask for the assistance of the designated personnel if you have any problems using any of the services the Internet Workstation/Multimedia Station offers.
