Queensbury Central Announces 2026 Officers

At the annual election meeting, the members of Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Company voted to elect the following members to officer positions for the department:

2nd Assistant Chief: Joe Mali (Car 217, Unit 2)
3rd Assistant Chief: Bill Conine (Car 218, Unit 3)
4th Assistant Chief: Andrew Arpaio (Car 219, Unit 4)
Captain: Tom Haskell (Unit 5)
Lieutenant: Brad Arpaio (Unit 6)
Fire Police: Captain Joseph Geroski (FP-1)

Queensbury Central Announces 2025 Call Totals

The Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Company has announced their total number of calls for service in 2025. The department responded to a total of 665 calls for service in 2025.

Queensbury HS Seinors Lend a Hand at Station 1

On Thursday, May 23rd, 8 seniors from Queensbury High School spent the morning helping to prepare the Lafayette Street station for the annual Memorial Day Picnic as part of the school's annual "Senior Giveback Day". The group spent the morning helping to clean the apparatus bay floors as well as Engine 315, Tower 1 and Engine-Rescue 316! Everyone at Queensbury Central would like to thank them for the hard work they and their classmates put in on Give back day to help keep Queensbury a great place to live!

QCFD Mourns Passing of Chaplin

It is with deep sadness and regret that the members of Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. announce the passing of 66 year member, life member, and Chaplain Chester “C.P.” South. Chet has held several positions in the fire company in his 66 year career and was appointed Honorary Chief in 2018.
