The ruling group of the world, they were originally derived from the Navy but eventually took on the name "Seaborne", after the first generation of people born on the ocean.
Mostly water-based, they have various bases scattered around 3 of the 4 oceans; Western Region, Eastern Seas, and Northern Waters.

A well-known crew that roams the Western Region and Northern Waters, but occasionally drifts into the Eastern Sea. They are known for their acts of pyracy, but mostly as a compassionate crew that does not attack land-based locations, nor do they kill anyone without reason.

A notorious crew known for their trickery and deceit, and their ability to escape quickly. Most of the crew is considered no more dangerous that other pirates, but the captain and first mate are major threats on their own. Most members of the crew were tricked or bribed onto the crew, though few ever leave.

A large fleet of pyrate ships headed by Maelstrom Razora. All crewmembers are extremely skilled, regardless of ship; flagship crew should be avoided. Protects the Southern Ice and destroys any intruders.

A large tribe found on Wolf Island, they are secretive and mistrustful of outsiders. Severe cultural restrictions dictate their lives, especially those of the Protectors, the shifter genetics of the tribe. A single line still holds the ability of full shapeshifting, though a few others boast partial shifting abilities such as claws, fur, limbs, or other minor or combination of incomplete changes. Revere wolves, who have largely remained unchanged, and protect them even at the cost of their own lives.

Birthplace of Kasai and Naomi, a relatively small island with no more than two weeks to Mist Island and two weeks from Veridey's Island. Mostly known for its fishing port in Cloud Village and whaling port in Nimbus, there is a natural herd of neixe's and auruchs found near the center of the island.

Nimbus is the 4th largest port in the Eastern Seas, taking up a large stretch of the island for the port and fish-storage. A large hospital can be found in Nimbus and rivals Surval's main hospital in size but has more advanced technology for better care.
A small mountain island almost entirely ringed with a narrow beach, is continuously surrounded by mist and difficult to find. The mountains make a ring and a small valley is found in the center, with a house and small field in the center.
Only the Lightning Crew is known to visit Mero's home, though there may be other visitors.
A freshwater stream flows from the mountains into a small river along the edge and exits into a tunnel along the southern wall. Another opening to the east leads to a wide section of the beach.
The tunnel opening leads to the Cathedral Grotto, a naturally domed area where a ship may be able to dock safely and supplies stored. A small boat, just big enough for a short voyage and fitted with an engine, can be found here.
A major location located in the southern territory of the Eastern Seas. Home to one of the two Eastern Seaborne bases, a hub for shipping activity and southern fish. An auruchs herd can be found inland, as well as a hunting meadow. A natural salt-bog can be found just west of Erith and is a common burial ground.

Icado Port is the 2nd largest port in the Eastern Seas, home to the Southern Bazaar. The Southern Bazaar deals in everything but shipbuilding, though parts for ship repair can be found here. Once a tiny market, it has grown thanks to Sonus and Kira.
A large archipelago with few humans, it is home to colves and a special herd of niexe's that have almost doubled in size, grown larger horns, and become highly aggressive. The one surviving settlement is found on the eastern shores, built onto platforms over the water.
The various islands are connected via shallow sandbars or rocky bottoms that can be traversed by foot or cart.

The only location where niexe's have thrived and evolved beyond their norm, this was also home a large pack of colves that were driven out by the neixe's. The neixe herd has proved to be such a problem that few people could hold their own against even one.
A large island, or small continent, located above the equator. Home to several towns, small villages, and the worlds largest shipyard. This is where the majority of large ships are made, excluding airships, and repaired. Three orchards, a lumberyard and lumber-forest, three animal farms, and a large hospital are found inland, while the worlds second-largest market is found on the western shore.
A Seaborne base can be found northeast of the Dockmarket and is the main base for the Eastern Seas and one of the two main jail locations.

Surval's Dockmarket is the only one of two markets that sit partially on water. Separated into sections, with the shipyard being considered part of it. Pyrates are allowed freely in one section, where the Seaborne have an agreement to not harm, attack, or capture any pyrate unless they cause trouble; they may visit the section located on land for anything they need from the areas where they are not allowed.
A large stretch of water between the four oceans, is difficult to traverse even for seasoned sea-goers. Two shipping lanes, one north of the Stepping Stone islands and one south, are used by Seaborne and merchants, and the other is used primarily by pyrates or travelers.
The islands found there do not have much more than grass or bare shrubs, but provide a temporary relief from extended sea-travel. Known not only for its size, but also for the several pods of Hindri Whales that travel through the region.
A large, crescent shaped island in the eastern part of the Western Region, it is the first major island for those crossing the Expanse.
Cer'ki Peak rises above the city and is noticeable from many miles away. The bay is the only location in the world where the Old World can be glimpsed on bright, clear days.
Was once the headquarters for the Seaborne, now host trainees, those on leave, or those patroling the nearby waters.
Split into three sections: Travelers District, the Artist District, and the Labor District. The Travelers District is mainly inns, taverns, and supply shops for those staying in the city temporarily. The Labor District host anyone who performs any sort of manual labor; everything about this district is entirely practical, with very little art or extravagance. The Artists District is bright, loud, and regarded as the most beautiful place in the Western Region, if not the world; musicians are found here, both those who play and those who make instruments, as well as painters, gardeners, carvers, or anyone with an interest in the arts.
One of the few locations in the world that hosts Airships, and is the main building ground for them.
A large bustling trade port, they are the crossroads of much of the trading that happens around the world. Located in the northeast area of the Western Region, they are neutral with pyrates as long as they cause no trouble.
Mostly warehouses, the town itself has basic amenities such as a Blacksmith, Tanner, Clothier, Paper Mill, and other places that create common trade items for the residents. A small market can be found along the main street, where small-time artist sell their wares and some cafes, the only ones in the world outside of Cernu, can be found in the center of town.
A wild island inhabited by the Nuveri Tribe. The only island in the world where wolves, unchanged since before the Water Age, can be found.
Wolf Peak stretches above the island and is shaped like a wolf with its nose tipped to the moon, while the Wolfs Jaws is the only place outsiders are allowed to land without being immediately killed.
A strange island backed by mountains, is the home of the worlds researchers. Very few ever leave the island, especially on a permanent basis, but occasionally sends out research teams to document animals, islands, cultures, or any other changes around the world.
Does not let strangers go beyond their docks, is very secretive about the inside of their mountain. For the rare visitors, the town is strange, with every building being cut directing into the rock that makes up the mountain.
An arena, a model of the Roman Collisium, can be found in its depths and is its primary location for exercise. A valley is mentioned inland, but never seen.
