17 at the beginning of the series, is closer to 19 at the end of Book 1. Friendly and open before the events of Cloud Island, he became more reckless after joining Sonus' crew.
More brain than brawn, he's not as strong as the other pyrates but figures out smarter ways of doing tasks when possible.
Is known to not listen or accept help from others at critical times.

21 at the start, he had become jaded, bitter, and guarded from his time after the events of Veridey's Island. Having taken on a mechanics role, he's stopped fighting unless forced. Comes across as harsh to those he's not close to, and those he's close to would describe him as haunted. Relies on strategy rather than brute strength.
Is known to refuse help and lash out at others.

Age 25 at the start, Oxe has learned the common language fully. Seen as a worrier, his concerns are true. An empathetic person, he's become adaptable and even sly. For a time, he passes as naive and shy, hiding his more serious demeanor.
Is considered sound and hard-working by Ironwood's crew, but devoted and keen by others.
