Face Swap and Restoration

Technology can make it look as if anyone has said or done anything. The idea of modifying images is as old as photography. At first, it had to be done by hand, but by the 1990’s it was routinely being done with software like Photoshop. With new software it’s easier than ever to change faces with someone and have them say whatever you’d like. Through this project we gained a better understanding of the tools used to do this and how to spot the changes for ourselves.
