Sheree White

My name is Sheree White and my passion is photography. My plans after graduation is to go into college and pursue a career in the medical field. I plan on doing photography still because I enjoy creating art. I love the challenges that people create for themselves when it comes to photography and one day I’d love to make my own.

Each of the three photos I uploaded have been taken and edited by me. I did a lot of independent work so most of my photos were done by me, myself, and I. My first picture (with three heads) is one I took recently. My goal was to look like a Cerberus which are the hounds of the god Hades. My struggle with this piece was the editing. I tried my best to blend it all together to make it look like all three heads were on one body.

My second piece (floating shoe) is my personal favorite. My goal was to make it look as natural as possible. My struggles were to remove my hand from it all. I had to take an older photo and Photoshop the tip of the shoe off my first photo onto my second photo to remove my fingers.

My third piece (levitation) was my hardest to do. My goal was to make it look like I was levitating. My challenge with that was to remove a huge water fountain that I was on and make the background look normal. I wasn’t able to move the fountain magically, so I made my own background.

Maria Alvarado

Hello, my name is Maria Alvarado and I am 17 years old. I am the middle child in my family and the only girl. I have a passion for soccer, it began when my mom made my brother and I join a soccer team when I was 4 years old and since then I’ve been playing till this day. I have also picked up a passion for photography. Photography gives me the notion of knowing that a moment in my life has been captured, frozen in time, with no possible way of fading away. Without leaving us with the fear that the mind erases this moment, where the memories are forgotten.

For my plans after high school, as of right now I am planning to go to Delta college and figure it out from there.

Arianah Calvo

Hi! I’m Arianah and I’m 17 years old, I’m excited to say I am officially going to further my education at CSU Fullerton. This is just the first step of my future plans because I plan to go to PA school in the future as well so I can become a physician assistant.

I plan to still take photos of my journey so I can share my memories and experience.
