A FUNKtional system prototype is one for which existing parts have been hacked and brought together in a manner that approximates a system without making a costly commitment to any one configuration, technology, process or geometry. It is a low-commitment, rapidly assembled, concept prototype that still allows for objective evaluation and testing. The emphasis is on bringing a system into the world that performs the desired function, no matter how ugly or hacked the system is
Aim
summing up what you have been doing and learning so far, transforming that into a first, very rough, version of a system that would address the problem and needs of the user you have identified as the most promising one to take on.
Deliverables

Questions
Who is your actual user and what needs does he or she have? What requirements would that indicate for your FUNK-tional system?
Which requirements are most important? How are requirements related?
Which requirements are contradictory?
Which of your important requirements will be the most difficult to handle in terms of constraints?
Go through all prototypes that you as a full team have created so far and try to identify what the prototypes do
