Our goal is to enhance public library services for refugees and immigrants by examining the roles libraries play in their communities, evaluating the impact of related activities on staff, and collecting the perspectives of immigrants and refugees to enhance library relevance and service quality.

Many members of our research group are educators dedicated to creating collaborative learning environments that blend theoretical knowledge with practical applications in public library responses to immigrant and refugee needs.
