The PubLIB Research Group brings together European researchers investigating the role of public libraries as drivers of socially and culturally sustainable development in local communities.
We are an international network of researchers with a shared interest in the role of public libraries in fostering socially and culturally sustainable communities.
Our research examines how public libraries support inclusive and socially and culturally sustainable communities by exploring the roles libraries play, evaluating institutional practices, and incorporating the perspectives of diverse community members to inform service development.
Many members of our research group are educators dedicated to creating collaborative learning environments that connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications related to the role of public libraries in inclusive and socially sustainable communities.
