The FUN factor was contagious, leading to this collaboration with my daughter Dana, who was inspired to write the lyrics for this ode to the MN State Fair.
I couldn't resist giving her vocals a lower pitched male texture for the hook . . .

Granddaughter Cheyenne's debut on bongos happened to be filmed, and at the time I watched it I was creating BMR's Where You Go track and immediately knew it was meant to grace the track. I lifted the audio from the video and wove it into the track tapestry. It was a magic moment!

While walking our beautiful Mississippi river trails, I heard the glorious sound of bagpipes floating in the distance. As I got closer to the sound, I spotted the piper and was inspired to film him. I chose not to interrupt his deep meditation, and just listened beyond the filming.
On return from my walk, I watched the video and felt an urge to do my tinker thing, and pull the sound off to use for a re-mix of a House track my nephew Corey (CooRay) had shared with me, Thus started the process of collaboration, minus James having a clue this was being done.
The House track I used is Midnight Train by Sebastian Weikum.
After creating the mix, it was years before I would come across the piper again. This time I introduced myself and learned his name - James Johnson. I told Jim what I'd done, and he graciously wanted to hear the results.
To my relief, he dug it!

CooDream / Dancin' Shadow
The threads continue, the ripple effect in action.
Corey later shared something musical he'd received in a dream. He was toning the melody he'd heard and described hearing it to some form of House track. I was immediately compelled to create something from his description. That resulted in the track CooDream.
While walking the river shore ice, I had the track playing on my phone, which inspired me to film my long winter shadows, as I danced to the beats. I took those video images and created a video with CooDream as the soundtrack.
Craig of BMR saw the video and was moved to free style a vocal that was to become our track

Deeply Inspired while listening to MLK's final speech, I've Been To The Mountaintop, I channeled the track that I used to make an honoring video.
