Statement of Purpose from the Executive Team
The PS 112 Parent Association exists to serve as the voice of families, strengthen the partnership between parents, teachers, and school leadership, and build a connected, engaged school community where every child can thrive. We are committed to advocating for students' academic success, emotional well-being, and overall school experience by fostering open communication, encouraging meaningful parent involvement, and ensuring families stay informed about school initiatives and opportunities.
As the coordinating bridge between parents and the school, we will listen, communicate, and collaborate to represent family perspectives in school decision-making. Through community-building events, volunteer opportunities, fundraising, and support for school programs and staff, we aim to enrich the educational experience for all students.
Above all, we believe that our greatest strength is working together. By welcoming every family, sharing responsibilities, and supporting one another, we can build a stronger school community where everyone has a voice and every contribution matters.
