What is Snack Shack?
Snack Shack is a monthly event that occurs during students' lunch periods and is run by PTA volunteers and 5th graders. Students can purchase chips, sweets, drinks and other treats for $1 or $2 each. The funds raised each month go towards 5th grade graduation and end of year expenses.
Students who are interested in purchasing snacks should bring their money in a Ziploc bag in their lunch bag on the day of Snack Shack.
Snack Shack dates are decided from month to month, depending on volunteer availability. Once approved, the date is posted on the Class Dojo feed as well as the weekly school email to the community.
The PTA is always looking for volunteers to help with Snack Shack and donate food items! Homemade & store-bought snack donations are welcome, however items with nuts cannot be accepted. To volunteer or donate, please join the WhatsApp Community, "Snack Shack & School Time volunteers" subgroup to stay up-to-date.
Please note: To enter the school as a volunteer or visitor, you must present a valid form of ID and sign in at the security desk
