• Most applications made till April 2018 have been processed.
• If you have applied after April 2018, cards will be issued before the elections in April 2019.

Search your name in the voters list : http://ceo.karnataka.gov.in/search_2019ph1/vernacularSearch_New.aspx

Enter only 3 letter for your name, and relative's name. Do not enter more letters Or it wont search properly.

The site is faster between 10 pm and 8 am.

• If your name shows up in the list, your card will be distributed when BBMP comes to distribute cards before the elections.

My name doesn't show up in the search results.

First make sure the District is set to Bangalore and Constituency to Mahadevpura.

Then try searching using a different relative name.

1. Many people applied with eg. their wife name as relative name in the application, and search using father's name.
2. Search your surname. Eg, if name is Salman Khan. Search using "Sal" , if you don't find, try searching using "kha"

The registration process is very poor, and will improve only if we express our displeasure. One officer even said that the process is immature because very few public complain.

I submitted Aadhar card as Address proof

Your application is most probably rejected. You will have to re-apply with acceptable documents.

The election commission has a specific list of documents acceptable as address proof. It has not yet been updated to include Aadhar card. We have heard this argument at least a 100 times. and over 50 applications were actually submitted with Aadhar as address proof in-spite of the checklists and instructions. We are only trying to help. The rules are set by the election commission. Kindly do not argue with us.

I have submitted my form Online in NVSP But didn't submit any paper copies of the documents.

Paper copies of Documents submitted online **Must** be signed and submitted for the online application to get processed.

Unfortunately, your application has most probably been rejected. However, CEO karnataka has recently ordered for re-processing of applications that were rejected.

Attach documents, and submit to Tower 8 JLL office. We will submit it when they re-process your application.

Aadhar card is ***NOT*** accepted as proof of address

I have submitted my form Online in NVSP . The status is not updated there.

NVSP site is not being updated by the karnataka officials. They only copy the applications into their local www.ceokarnataka.kar.nic.in website. No status is updated at NVSP site.

No. You will not receive any status updates. However, if they want to contact you for more documents, you will receive a call.

I submitted missing documents after the 22 Jan, and my name is missing in the final rolls.

A few applications couldn't be processed coz of the following reasons.

1. Incomplete applications submitted, and they are probably rejected
2. You submitted a wrong form. Some people had applied on Form 6 for change of constituency, even though their previous address was in Mahadevpura constituency.
3. All Form-8 applications made for Corrections in the Voter ID cards could not be processed coz of software limitation. please refer corrections page
4. A few forms didn't get processed coz of software issues.

99% Applications made before April 12 [which was the original last date to submit in PSN] were all checked for issues 1) and 2) and corrected. There was no time to check and call if you submitted after April 12.

Do **not** use the NSVP search. It still refers to the old database.

My name is in the voters List. I haven't received my Voters ID

If your name shows up in the search results, you are eligible to vote in the coming election showing any government Photo ID card.

If you have applied after Sep 2017, and your name is in the voters list, refer Card Not Delivered

If you have applied before Sep 2017, you can collect the ID card from "Bangalore One" center at Indiranagar or Old Airport road only by quoting your VoterID number, part number and Serial Number, which you can get at http://ceo.karnataka.gov.in/search_2019ph1/vernacularSearch_New.aspx

They claim to issue cards all year. But in reality, they only issue the cards in the 2-3 months before the elections. As of 2019-04-02, both these "Bangalore One" centers are issuing cards.

We are currently a very small team driving this. Even a small effort you can contribute is very much welcome.
