After the huge turnout at the last elections, MLA , MP , MLC of our constituency have all reached out to us, and have promised to work with us. Below are some updates
On Saturday, the 9th June, the sitting MLA Mr Aravind Limbavali, MP Mr. P.C. Mohan, Ward committee member and PSAOWA former president Mr Pradeep K Nair, Whitefield Rising Ms Anjali Saini met up with the Metro MD Mr Mahendra Jain to highlight the inconveniences of the ongoing Metro project.
Mr Mahendra Jain has promised to look into the matter on priority in the next 2-3 weeks.
Some ideas are being worked on to improve KR Puram station situation.
Infact, on the very next day, some of potholes were covered up, re-topping of the surface done at some places. At some other places, the barricades were moved inward, making more space for traffic.
Of course, this road being a work site for the moment, we can't expect permanent fixes. But, we continue to be engaged with the authorities and the elected representatives, and hopefully, commuting becomes at least a little easier.
After metro work is complete, they are supposed to lay 10.5m wide permanent roads on either side of the pillars.
