Aquí se incluye una lista de artículos científicos relacionados con la "pandemia" ocasionada por COVID-19. Los artículos pueden ser accesados a través de los hipervínculos incluidos.

before 2019

2007

Publicacion del articulo titulado "Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus as an Agent of Emerging and Reemerging Infection" en Clinical Microbiology Reviews. En este artículo, los autores (todos del Departamento de Microbiologia del Centro de Investigación de Infecciones e Inmunología de la Universidad de Hong Kong) advierten: "The presence of a large reservoir of SARS-CoV-like viruses in horseshoe bats, together with the culture of eating exotic mammals in southern China, is a time bomb".

2014

"Microbial Contamination on Used Surgical Masks among Hospital Personnel and Microbial Air Quality in their Working Wards: A Hospital in Bangkok" by Luksamijarulkul et al.

High bacterial contamination on outside area of the used masks was demonstrated, and it showed a significant correlation with microbial air quality of working wards.

"US suspends risky disease research" by Sara Reardon.

2019

Somewhere at the end of 2019 (?)

"Novel 2019-coronavirus on new year's Eve" by Gupta et al. In the Indian Journal of Medical Microbiology webpage,  you can see that the paper was submitted on February 2020, accepted on April, and published on May 2020. Yet, in that same webpage it says that it was published in 2019. Anyhow, in this paper the authors say that "an ongoing apocalyptic outbreak of a new virus causing pneumonia-like clusters in Wuhan city, China, has gleamed the world".

2020

April 2020

"SARS-CoV-2 shedding and infectivity" by Atkinson and Petersen. With reference to this paper published in March 2020.

From the authors: "Although the use of sensitive PCR methods offers value from a diagnostic viewpoint, caution is required when applying such data to assess the duration of viral shedding and infection potential because PCR does not distinguish between infectious virus and non-infectious nucleic acid."

May 2020

"Identifying airborne transmission as the dominant route for the spread of COVID-19" by Zhang et al.

This paper had to be retracted because of "easily falsifiable claims and methodological design flaws". See note here.

September 2020

"El papel del habla en la transmisión de SARSCoV-2: recomendaciones para espacios confinados".

I wish I was kidding, but I am not. The authors suggest "to promote among the people the recommendation to speak what is strictly necessary in confined spaces and where it is not possible to keep a healthy distance, even if a mask is used". Also, they say that "if it becomes a social norm, it could help reduce the incidence of Covid-19".

October 2020

"Inferred resolution through herd immmunity of first COVID-19 wave in Manaus, Brazilian Amazon" by Prowse et al.

From the authors: "Our models indicate that the development of herd immunity amongst the mixing proportion of the Manaus population had effectively halted the COVID-19 epidemic by late July 2020."

"Analysis of the Transmission Dynamics of COVID-19: An Open Evidence Review" Version 2: 5th October 2020.

"Use of adenovirus type-5 vectored vaccines: a cautionary tale" by Buchbinder et al.

December 2020

"Therapeutically administered ribonucleoside analogue MK-4482/EIDD-2801 blocks SARS-CoV-2 transmission in ferrets" by Cox et al.

Very interesting, particularly in the context of the recent mass murder of millions of minks, close relatives of ferrets (link to this story).

"Suspicions grow that nanoparticles in Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine trigger rare allergic reactions". Esto no es un paper pero podría ser interesante para ti.

"Safety and Efficacy of the BNT162b2 mRNA Covid-19 Vaccine" by Polack et al.

2021

Junio 2021

"The safety of COVID-19 Vaccinations - We should rethink the policy" by Walach et al.

In this paper, the authors said that "for 3 deaths prevented by vaccination we have to accept two inflicted by vaccination".

The paper was first published on June 24th, 2021, on June 28th there was an expression of concern, published by the Editorial Office of Vaccines, and then on July 2nd the paper was officially retracted.

Interestingly, on July 1st, 2021, this note came up in Science, calling the paper "grossly irresponsible".
