This Privacy Policy explains how Project Yoakeboshi collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information submitted through our VTuber audition/application form.
By submitting the audition form, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the processing of your information for the purposes described below.
We may collect the following information from applicants:
· Nickname or preferred name
· Discord username
· Email address
· Gender
· Employment status
· General location, such as country, state, or city
· How you discovered the project
· Self-introduction
· Reason for wanting to become a VTuber
· Interests, dislikes, special skills, expertise, and experience
· Past experience with streaming, content creation, performance, voice work, art, video editing, gaming, or related activities
· Planned content or streaming ideas
· Estimated hours you can commit per week
· Languages you can use
· Your views on the project, its benefits, and what you value about it
· Your understanding of VTubers and VTuber culture
· Communication ability, such as talking skills and ability to interact with strangers
· Motivation, attitude toward criticism, and mental preparation
· Questions, feedback, or other information you choose to provide
We do not require your real full name, IC/passport number, full home address, religion, political opinion, medical information, or other sensitive personal information at the audition stage. Please do not include such information unless we specifically request it for a necessary reason later.
We collect and use your information for the following purposes:
· To review your suitability for the VTuber project
· To understand your personality, interests, skills, motivation, and content direction
· To contact you about your application
· To shortlist, interview, or follow up with selected applicants
· To assess whether your goals and availability match the project
· To plan possible talent roles, content direction, language direction, and group balance
· To keep internal records of applications
· To improve future auditions, forms, and project planning
· To handle questions, feedback, or disputes related to the audition
Your information will not be sold to third parties.
Your information may be accessed only by people involved in reviewing or managing the audition, such as:
· The project owner or organiser
· Legal or professional advisers, if necessary
We will not publicly reveal your application details without your permission.
The audition form and communication may use third-party platforms such as Google Forms, Tally, Gmail, Discord, Google Drive, or other online tools.
These platforms may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms. Please review their policies if you are concerned about how they handle your information.
We will take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
However, no online transmission or storage method is completely secure. Please avoid submitting information that is unnecessary, highly private, or sensitive.
For applicants who are not selected, we may keep the application information for up to 6–12 months for record, review, and future audition reference, unless you request earlier deletion.
For shortlisted applicants or selected talents, we may keep relevant information for a longer period as needed for project management, contract discussion, legal record, or future collaboration.
When the information is no longer reasonably needed, we will delete it or anonymize it where practical.
Please make sure the information you submit is accurate and up to date. If your contact details or availability change, you may contact us to update your information.
