Connecting Launchpad

Plug your launchpad into the iPad / iPhone
Open Prism in your preffered host
Route Launchpads MIDI Out to Prisms MIDI in (no need to apply any filters)
Route Prism's MIDI Out to Launchpad's MIDI in (Filter out everything except sysex messages. Otherwise the launchpad will randomly flicker, let's call it Disco)

5. In Prism go to [DEVICE SETTINGS]->'LAUNCHPAD' and select your launchpad type.

Note on connecting: Prism relies on launchpad's programmer mode for sending control signals. When you select the type of launchpad device from Prism's menu the device sends an autoconfig message to launchpad setting it to 'programmer mode'. The session button will now be locked. This is a restriction from Launchpad. To unclock you can deselect the current Launchpad profile in Prism and a reset config will get sent. If you connect the Launchpad out of order then you'll need to manually enter 'programmer' mode:

Long press 'Session' -> Press the orange 'Stop, Solo, Mute' button -> press 'session' again.

As an added bonus Launchpad's session button doesn't lock when manually entered this way.

[3.a] Velocity Strip

Press to set the active velocity
Press while recording to trigger a note at the given velocity
Press in trig focus to set the focus velocity
Press in track select to set the track velocity offset
When velocity isn't relevant the strip can take on other functions to match Prism's state
- For example, offering PEEK, ECHO, and MELT in the FUSE state
- While the Scene | Pattern keypad is selected the velocity strips gives quick access to the scene's mute profiles

[4.a] Page Strip

Press to set the active page
Press the active page to toggle follow
Press 'Paste' / 'Copy' + a Page Button to copy and paste the page
Press 'Paste' + Out of Range Page to extend the sequence length
While in [SEQ SETUP] press the green pad to toggle the general page strip and the 'quick navigator' strip, which reflects the functionality of the page controls on a drum track.
When sequence page isn't relevant the page strip can take on other functions to support Prism's state

Trig Focus Functions

For optimized workflow a unique rhythm keypad is available while using a launchpad controller. Use the multimode keypad to select it. The Launchpad octave control button functions will vary depending on the selection.
