I was able to achieve Outcome 8 by developing an understanding of the role of technology in patient care through the research conducted for the Provider-Centered Mobile Health Technologies and Meaningful Use papers assigned in the course NURS 7112: Healthcare Informatics. Additionally, I was able to address existing deficits in personal experience with electronic health records (EHRs) through frequent use of the EHR system at my clinical site.
