Check Your Technology

Even a great online presentation can be challenged by technical issues. Checking your technology in advance can help minimize some of those issues.

• Turn off any applications that you don't need, especially those with pop-up notifications.

• If you're not using your phone to present, turn it off or have it on mute.

• Disable your screensaver so it doesn't accidentally come on during your presentation

• If using a laptop, make sure it is plugged in or fully charged before your session

• If using a mobile device, make sure it is fully charged before your session

• Have all software/browser tabs that you need for your presentation open and ready before you start the live presentation
