PURPOSE: To reveal the Marriage Feast of the Lamb and the Guests thereof.

INTRODUCTION

The parables of the Net and Tares have taught us that the Lord’s Angels will separate the tares from the wheat, the bad fish from the good fish in the Church first, before the Loud Cry in the world is done. Let us now continue with the Lord Jesus’ parables in relation to this Judgment.

Luke 14 : 1, 7-15 – Jesus was at a real supper, and after giving some counsel to the guests and host, he turned to a man who longed to eat bread in the Kingdom of God; and gave this parable Luke 14:16-24 – Though this parabolic supper was primarily applicable to Old Israel (COL 225-237), “the Lesson is for all time” (COL 223) and is directly applicable to Modern Israel - SDA, which has come to the last supper in the last days. Thus there are two periods: (i) A time when the Gospel invited many – from the apostolic time to the last servant with the last message (ii) The time in which the last servant worked.

GROUP 1 – THOSE WHO WERE EARLIER INVITED

The Marriage Supper in Luke 14: 16 - 20

“Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. And they all with one [consent] began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come….”

This Group 1 is of the City – the SDA Church leadership (Grey horses) which have the invitation cards, but too busy in Egypt (worldliness). Thus they all excused themselves. The message of the 4^th angel first came to the leaders but all opposed - excused themselves!

GROUP 2: FROM THE SAME CITY:

Luke 14:21-22 “So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.”

Group 2 are the few in the same City (SDA Church), which could not fill the Wedding Chamber are those who accept the 4^th Angel’s message, sigh and cry, and get the seal among the 144000.

GROUP 3 FROM OUT-SIDE THE CITY:

Luke 14:23-24 “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled. For I say unto you, that none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.”

Group 3 are those out-side the City – the Great Multitude who are ‘compelled’ (gathered) by the 144000 during the Loud Cry period.

NOTE That when those who excused themselves rejected the call, probation closed for them, because none of them will be allowed to taste the supper at the time when the message leaves the Church for world !

THE MARRIAGE FEAST IN MATT.22

MATT. 22:1-8 “And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of [it], and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated [them] spitefully, and slew [them]. But when the king heard [thereof], he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.”

Matt 22:1-8 – appears similar to Luke 14, but there are some additions:

In Luke 14, he is one servant, but in Matt 22 they are many, showing that the messenger (Elijah) of the 4^th Angel’s message will have helpers even when he is dead.

That the Marriage is of the King’s Son-Jesus Christ.

In Matt. 22 -not only did the opposers of truth excused themselves but also reached the extent of beating and “killing” the servants of the Lord (persecution/disfellowship/excommunication). But please do not be discouraged-Read Isa 66:5 /Luke 6:22-23/Micah 7:5.

In Matt 22 – not only did the King (Jesus) become angry with Group 1, but also sent his heavenly army (angels) to destroy those murderers and their place in the city (church). –Ezek 9:5-6 /Isa 66:15-19 /Amos 9:9-10)

In Matt 22 –not only did the Lord send His angels, but also He Himself came down to His Temple (SDA Church) to purify it (Mal 3:1-3 /5T.690)

The Drama of compelling (Luke 14:23) people to come to supper is again amplified - “both good and bad” (Matt. 22:10) are compelled to come! That is –both Christian and heathen, so long they answer the Loud Cry call and repent.

Matt 22:11-14 – “And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few [are] chosen.”

This impenitent man, without the wedding garment (the righteousness of Christ, the character or seal), but went in with the penitent and sealed saints, and whom the Master called “friend”, cannot be of the “murderers” (Group 1)! They are those who accepted the invitation (came into message), but deliberately delayed to reach the acceptable standards for the Seal.

THE SUPPER IN MATT. 25

Matt 25:1-7 “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish. They that [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps…..

Matt 25: 8-13 “And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, [Not so]; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”

Matt 25:1-4 –Virgins = COL 406 – “They are called virgins because they profess a pure faith” (the Sanctuary and Sabbath Truth or 3^rd Angel’s message). Therefore, are SDAs. Oil = COL 407 -408 /1 JOHN 5:6 /ZECH 4- Holy Spirit in form of Present Truth. The Oil they all have in common in their lamps =3^rd Angel’s Message But the extra oil is “the addition to the 3^rd Angel’s Message” (EW 277), the 4^th Angel’s message, which they keep in their own vessels under opposition from the others.

Matt 25:5-13 –This voice (announcement), though partially pointing to 1844 when He entered the Holy of Holies, is to be fulfilled in the end of time when the same Bridegroom shall arrive in the SDA Church for the Judgment of the Living (Mal. 3:1-3, Ezek. 9 slaughter). This voice obviously does not come from any of the groups with or without the extra oil, for, “all slumbered”, “both taken unaware” Col. 412. The “extra oil.” The foolish think they can beg the oil which then has sealed them – formed the character of Jesus in them. This announcement is as a result of occurrence of last events pertaining to the starting of the judgment of the living. Only the wise recover from the shock by perusing and applying their representing their “extra oil”. The foolish think they can beg the oil which then represents the character (Righteousness of Christ or seal), and “Character is not transferable. No man can believe for another. No man can receive the Spirit for another…” COL 412. Better get the extra oil NOW to be wise (knowledgeable) than choose ignorance for foolishness!.

THE SUPPER IS SERVED

What is this Marriage Supper?

“By the marriage is represented the union of humanity with divinity, the wedding garment represents the character which all must possess who shall be accounted fit guests for the wedding” COL 307

Union time: Rev. 21:9, 10 /Zech 14:16-18 /GC 427/ EW 280-281:

GC 426 - “The Marriage represents the reception by Christ of the Kingdom. The Holy city, the New Jerusalem which is the capital and representative of the Kingdom is called “the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”

Even though Christ went in the Heavenly Sanctuary to receive the Kingdom in 1844, the event continues up to the close of probation for the whole world. Then the judgment crew will move out of the sanctuary and Christ will then be crowned King of Kings clothed in purple and crowned with many crowns (Rev. 19:12 /EW 281) while the 7 plagues are falling on earth.

Supper is served in Heaven

Matt.26:29 /EW 19 : Supper will be served in heaven on that “table of pure silver; it was many miles in length, yet our eyes could extend over it. I saw the fruit of the tree of life, the manna, almonds, figs, pomegranates…” EW 19. We are the guests and the church is just a waiting place. Let us be ready for the unexpected, sudden coming of the bridegroom to His Virgins (Church –Mal 3:1-3) for Judgment of the living. The full Kingdom = King (Jesus), Territory –New Jerusalem (Capital) and citizens (Saints). Miss not there - Get the extra oil now!
